Improve your golf game for the 2010 season.
First I would like to say that I hope everyone has had a good winter and that no one has succumbed to the freezing temperatures. Now that we have rounded the corner and are heading into the beginning of spring, most of us are thinking about our golf games and what we can do to improve them for the 2010 season. Here are some tips that I believe will get you off on the right track for this golf season.
It is very important to come into every season with a list of goals that you would like to accomplish. Whether it be breaking 80, 90, or even 100 for the first time, it is important for constantly trying to improve your game if you have a goal to work towards. My suggestion is to write down five (5) goals that you would like to accomplish in the 2010 season and post them somewhere you will see them every day so you are always reminded of what you want to achieve. The next step is to make a plan to try and make your goals a reality. It can be as easy as spending three hours a week on the putting green because you would like to three putt less often, or hitting 50 pitch shots every trip to the range because that is a shot that you struggle with. No matter what goals you have, it is important that you are constantly working to improve your game throughout the year....

The junior clinics will be returning to Red Tail for the 2010 season. Two different sessions will take place to accommodate all of the juniors that would like to participate.
Students will learn the importance of the fundamentals in the set-up and swing. I believe it is crucial to the development of the golf swing to get started on the correct path. Students will participate in a variety of games and contests to keep the learning interesting and fun.
Juniors ages 8-15 are encouraged to sign up for either session regardless of skill level. There is a limit of 10 students per class.
Session Dates
Session 1: June 28, July 5, 12, & 19 (Monday nights)
Session 2: August 2, 9, 16, & 23 (Monday nights)
*All clinics will take place from 6-7pm
Fee Structure
If students would like to sign up for all four classes in a session up front, the fee will be $50. If the student wants to attend on a per class basis, the fee will be $20 per class attended.
